This General report has the purpose of summarizing each part of the National Reporting questionnaire by synthesizing the data of all submitted National Reports for the Fifth cycle. It replaces the official informational document prepared by the Secretariat for the consideration of the Conference of the Parties. This General report provides users with an overview of qualitative and quantitative information submitted by Parties to the Stockholm Convention. It is composed of three parts (B, C and D) as explained below:
Part B: This part contains information submitted on the measures taken by Parties to implement the provisions of the Convention and on the effectiveness of such measures in meeting the objectives of the Convention.
Part C: This part contains information on progress of Parties in eliminating polychlorinated biphenyls (PCB), pursuant to paragraph (g) of part II of Annex A to the Convention.
Part D: This part contains information on progress of Parties in eliminating perfluorooctane sulfonic acid (PFOS), its salts and perfluorooctane sulfonyl fluoride (PFOSF) in accordance with paragraph 3 in Part III of Annex B to the Convention.
